How Much Is Shell Island Shuttle
Your Panama City Beach adventure catamaran sail is approximately 3 hours of fun in the sun! You’ll begin with a short sailing cruise across St. Andrews Bay to some of the best spots along Shell Island based on conditions and clarity for dolphin views and sea life. The “Island Time” is a wide, stable sailing cruise catamaran we’ll anchor in about 5 feet of water where you can snorkel around Shell Island, search for seashells or just relax in the calm water. Try our stand-up paddleboards or make a splash from our popular water slide.
Snorkeling is great around the St. Andrews State Park beach, and also on Shell Island. Habitats can range from sandy bottom to shallow grassy flats to the rock faces of the jetties. See tropical fishes, crabs, and rays. You might also see a turtle or some bottle nose dolphins if you are fortunate. Snorkel equipment can be rented from the Jetty Store. You may also purchase it as part or a complete package, which includes shuttle tickets and snorkel gear on a Shell Island Snorkel Tour.

Dolphins are wild animals that live in their natural habitat. They are not kept in tanks or in netted areas. Polarized sunglasses are recommended to reduce the glare from the water in order to see wild dolphins better. It is rare to see dolphins.
You can book a boat ride to Shell Island from us. We will take your boat to secret areas along the coast that many tourists miss. Also, you can bring your own lunch or drinks. You can also bring a lunch or beverages to help preserve this natural habitat.
Had a great time relaxing on the catamaran, looking out for dolphins and snorkeling and paddle boarding. The staff was great! We saw quite a few dolphins and sting rays as well. Not many fish to see snorkeling, but it was still fun.
Though the area boasts an average of 320 days of sunshine per year, late spring, summer and early fall offer some of the warmest air and water temperatures. Plus, by avoiding a visit in March or April, you'll dodge the deluge of college students who descend on the area's ivory sands every year for spring break.
Snorkeling is safe and easy for people of all ages. One of the best things about Shell Island is that the calm shallow water behind the jetty is the perfect place for first-time snorkelers to try the sport.
Once you get there it is all worth it, as it is the most beautiful water I've ever seen. It is like you are swimming in a pool. It is so crystal clear. We didn't know what to expect so we went planning to spend a few hours on the island. Come expecting to spend all day!
Shell Island has a fascinating amount of local wildlife including dolphins, loggerhead turtles, green sea turtles, ghost crabs, beach mice, nine-banded armadillos, alligators that live in the lake on the island, marsh rabbits, racoons and more.
